Chadwick Defehr
(Hardware Repurposing & All Things Systems)

Chadwick has a background as an assistant tire recycler, swimming pool slide attendant, and credit union mascot, but he finds a distinct pleasure in saving dated technology from the landfill. He is a Linux and open source community proponent happy to erase all the data from anyone's computer who is willing to hand it over.

Eugene Bilous
(Software Maestro )

Eugene writes and composes in code as if he were playing a musical instrument. Vital to Decet’s technical team and the deployment of our new ideas. His software speaks for itself.

Robbie Steffen
(Chief Engineer)

A computer engineer by training and vocation, Robbie Steffen is a dreamer, thinker, and lover of a good story across any medium. He enjoys designing new things and figuring out tricky problems. He also likes to read sci fi and drink coffee out of flower pots when a traditional coffee mug isn't in sight. Robbie’s valuable experience as a working engineer first in hardware design and then onto full stack software development will anchor Decet’s technical development.

Eric Pryor
(Creative Director & Visual Interpreter)

An illustrator, artist, and graphic designer from Chicago. He likes to make things look cool. He plays video games and has a cat. He maintains a side hustle as a barista and also sells art sometimes. Eric will decide how everything Decet-related makes your eyeballs feel.

Professor Andrew Miller Ph.D.
(Eureka Project Co-Founder)

Andrew is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign. His work in cryptography and computer security make him singular qualified for his role in leading the development of the software and technical architecture. Andrew is actively researching various areas of decentralization and has advised multiple successful blockchain ventures.

Gordon Speagle
(Eureka Project Co-Founder)
(Founder & Managing Partner Decet)

Gordon is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and studied Philosophy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before founding Decet in 2017, he had been employed by UIUC’s College of Engineering for the better part of a decade.
